If you have a history of allergies to antibiotics, notify the clinic in advance. • For swelling or bruising, apply a cold compress lightly to the treated area for the first 3 days. • Sleep in an upright or elevated position for 3 days to reduce swelling. • For 7 days, avoid alcohol, saunas, steam rooms, hot baths, and intense physical activity. • Temporary bruising, swelling, pain, or a foreign body sensation may occur. These symptoms usually improve within 1 to 2 weeks. However, if pain worsens after taking medication or if you experience persistent redness, itching, or heat at the treated area, please contact the clinic immediately and return for an in-person evaluation. • To prevent thread migration or breakage, avoid wide mouth movements (e.g. yawning or laughing excessively) for 4 weeks.
