Tax Refund Service Ending Notice (Effective 2026)

We would like to inform our valued patients of an important update regarding the Tax Refund (VAT Refund) service for medical aesthetic treatments in Korea.

According to the latest government policy, the Tax Refund service for cosmetic and aesthetic medical procedures will officially end as of December 31, 2025. As a result, tax refunds will no longer be available for treatments received on or after January 1, 2026.

Important Dates to Note

• Treatments received on or before December 31, 2025

Tax refund applications will still be accepted in 2026, provided that the refund is claimed within the valid application period (generally within 3 months from the receipt date, in accordance with tax refund regulations).

• Treatments received from January 1, 2026 onward

Tax refund services will no longer be available, regardless of nationality or departure date.

What This Means for Our International Patients

Patients who are planning to visit Korea and wish to take advantage of the tax refund benefit are strongly encouraged to complete their consultations and treatments by December 31, 2025.

If tax refund eligibility is an important factor in your treatment planning, we recommend scheduling your visit in advance, as appointment availability toward the end of the year may be limited.
