At Forena Clinic, we meet many international patients who are interested in natural-looking skin improvement. One of the options we provide is UltraCol 200, often used for areas such as the under-eyes and midface.
What is UltraCol 200?
UltraCol 200 is a treatment that uses poly-D,L-lactic acid (PDLLA), a biodegradable material that helps stimulate the skin’s own collagen production. Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers that add immediate volume, collagen stimulators generally work gradually to support elasticity and skin texture.
Results may last about 6–12 months on average
A series of 3 sessions at 4-week intervals is commonly recommended for more noticeable improvement
Effects may vary depending on individual skin condition, lifestyle, and treatment plan
Use in the Under-Eye Area
The under-eye area is delicate, and products with smaller particle sizes, such as UltraCol 200, are often selected for this region. It may help reduce the appearance of hollowness and fine lines, giving a more refreshed look. As with any treatment, suitability depends on the individual’s skin and should be confirmed through medical consultation.
Use in the Midface
In the midface (nasolabial folds, cheeks, marionette lines), UltraCol can support natural contour and firmness by stimulating collagen in deeper layers. This may improve the appearance of sagging or reduced volume over time, though results develop gradually and differ from patient to patient.
Repeated sessions are usually needed for collagen stimulators, as effects are built up gradually.
For Travellers Visiting Korea
Treatments are usually done on an outpatient basis, and many patients can resume daily activities quickly.
Changes appear naturally over time, rather than immediately.
Results and duration differ for each individual, and consultation with a qualified doctor is essential.
